The Courtyard Pantry Enterprise is an innovative food project which aims to tackle the harmful effects of poverty by creating well paid, secure jobs in hospitality and catering, by distributing good quality food at low cost, whilst reducing waste and minimising the impact on the environment.
What we do
Provide well paid, skilled jobs, tailored to the needs of people at risk of long-term unemployment.
Create highly valued training and volunteering opportunities in the hospitality and catering sector.
Create vibrant community hubs in the north of Glasgow.
Provide good quality food at low cost.
Influence the development of more robust food supply chains by working with local partners to grow fruit and vegetables to then use in our food enterprises.
Reduce food waste through the distribution of surplus food.
Contribute and influence to the creation of a more equitable economy and society through the promotion of inclusive community economic development.
